Goosewood Holiday Park

We are situated on the holiday park called Goosewood which is a haven surrounded by countryside for you to relax and enjoy every minute of your holiday.

On site there is the reception where you will be welcomed by a member of the staff who will provide you with your key to the Lodge and also your pass for the barrier for a £10 refundable deposit.

Due to our lodges being on a family park we are unable to accept any bookings from stag/hen parties or any large same sex parties. The park is more suited to families or couples wishing to enjoy the lovely peace and quiet this park offers.

Please note that although we are able to have guests in February Goosewood Park’s Facilities are not open. So the bar/bistro/pool and shop are not open until the 1st of March.

Once you are settled why not take advantage of the facilities available which include

The resort boasts an expansive, open green space, full of trees, plants and wildlife that help create the picturesque scenes and peaceful atmosphere that attracts holidaymakers to us.

For younger guests, there’s plenty to keep them occupied, with a playground available to ensure that they can have fun for hours in a safe environment. For the adults, there is a fantastic bar and bistro on site, so you can enjoy delicious food and drink while taking in the beautiful surroundings of the park. To keep active, we have a swimming pool, so you can make the most of the outdoors and the sunshine. On top of all that, we also have a games room that contains fun for all ages!

For a small extra cost, please ask at reception on arrival so you can enjoy the fishing lake, whiling away the hours in beautiful surroundings, whether you’re a keen angler or a complete novice. The park itself is only 8 miles from York city centre, so you are well within reach of shops and attractions, should you fancy venturing further afield. We have added a large section with ideas for things to do for adults and children alike.
