Just steps away from the lodge there is a first class coarse fishing lake which is second to none. As normal a license is required and the park charge a small daily fee.
There are always a keen group of fishermen making best use of the lake during the park's fishing period which is from dawn til dusk.
The lake is so well stocked, I am almost willing to bet you'll catch something during your stay! I did say almost!!
The lake is stocked with Rudd and Roach, Tench and Carp upto around 18lb!
Its definitely the ideal place to visit our Fishing Holiday Lodge.
This one was caught during our last visit to Goosewood (not by us though!!)
As you can see, the lake is a great size for fisherman, ducks and walkers alike
