Cycling Holidays in York
York is surrounded by so many beautiful villages and countryside that it is definitely worth bringing bikes with you to the log cabin.
As an alternative you can always hire cycles for the family, which may be the perfect answer, instead of carrying them there on a cycle rack.
There is a fantastic local Cycle Hire Company - Scoot Cycles which will deliver bikes to the lodge whenever you like, and will collect the bikes when you are finished with them.
Their prices are listed below for individual bikes, and they also do a family special (2 adults and 2 children) for £40.00 or a full day

There are so many cycle routes you can explore during your stay. Perhaps a leisurely cycle around Strensall and Haxby (lots of lovely Local Pubs on the way round!!), or you could even cycle down the river from Clifton Moor into the City Centre
